Hormonal Vent
I don't think I've had too many hormonal moments so far, but I'm super bummed out today and I can't kick it out of my system...my 35th bday is this weekend and DH has barely mentioned it at all and we haven't made plans or anything.  I know we are preoccupied and bdays are less important now, but I'm feeling old, fat, tired and ignored!! I think I see some retail therapy in my future...

Maybe he is surprising you. My c-section is scheduled the day before our 2 year wedding anniversary and I have been upset about that. It actually annoys me that all DH says is "yeah but we get to celebrate it with our daughter" ... he is not the one who will be cut open the day before, spending it stuck in a hospital bed ... yes our daughter is a good present but seriously...
