Homeowners Insurance recommendations (near the water)
My father is concerned that we might have problems getting homeowners on the property because he *thinks* it's near the water. Does anyone live in Mastic/Shirley that didn't have a problem w/Insurance and can recommend someone. Thanks!

Sharon at the other end of my block is the canal. We have Liberty Mutual.

Yup, flood insurance is a federal program. LM took care of getting the policy for us, but it gets paid separately.

We had major issues getting insurance for our house since we're so close to the water, but we ended up getting a great price from Farmers.
