recommendations needed - plumber to replace water heater
We are looking for someone to replace our hot water heater (gas) and would appreciate any recommendations you have. Nassau, south shore.
DIY is not an option.

We used A-1 Plumbing and we're very happy with their services. My MIL also uses them. Let me find their info - I posted it somewhere on LIF not too long ago.

We used A-1 plumbing (http://www.a-1sewer.com/
They promise free estimates, so they come to your house and will assess it for you, provide you with the cost, and if you don't like it, then you can thank them for your time.
We trust them - it's a family run business with father-son teams, my MIL has used them multiple times when she's had cesspool issues and toilet/faucet issues.
I'd definitely recommend them!

WE used Varicchio Plumbing (Oyster Bay). They installed our tankless water heater last June.

A little OT, but curious - Is your tankless water heater powered by electric? I heard that the instantaneous water heaters are all electric... Thanks!

Electric ignition, and powered by gas (we have gas heat).
