homeowners insurance
Our appraisal has been completed and now our mortgage broker said we have to get homeowner's insurance.
Any recommendations as to what we should be looking for?

You should see if your car insurance, retirement, or life insurance company does homeowners and get an umbrella policy. We had Metlife and we added homeowners and life insurance and got a significant discount.

I know my DH called around around for a few prices...and so far Liberty Mutual is the best deal.

I got a great deal with GEICO. I also have my car insurance with them.

Thanks for the info everyone!
DH called around and yes, Liberty Mutual did offer a nice package but we ended up going with the same company we have our car insurance with.
