Homemade Pizza: Meatless Toppings?
Tonight I am making pizza (getting the dough from the pizza place b/c I am too lazy to make it!). What type of meatless toppings do you love? I want to make it somewhat healthy...any suggestions?
I am going shopping later but in the house right now all I have is:
Fresh Mozz.
Fresh tomoatoes (I am making the sauce)
Basil
Black Olives
Onions
Also, has anyone ever made a White Pizza? My DH loves it but I am not sure what it entails

when i was asking about pizza, not too long ago, someone suggested caramelized onions.
holy cow! it's my new found favorite.
i make pizzas on monday nights. everyone gets a personal pizza. mine usually consist of very little meat (any leftover), caramelized onions, and roasted red peppers... and cheese, of course.

I love a mushroom, artichoke and black olive pizza. Believe it or not, pizza topped with crumbled turkey burger with broccoli rabe is delish. I hope someone on here gives a how-to for making white pizza, too  .

sauteed spinach, broccoli, mushrooms or broccli rable with garlic (any one or all!)
carmelized onions and peppers!

I love the morningstar meatless sausage...it's so good and has a little spice to it I always put it on our pizzas. But I also make a pizza with saut onions, mushrooms and turkey bacon with ricotta only no sauce (I know you said meatless but had to share). Sooo yummy

We just did peppers, onions and olives.
Next time I am def. going to try some of your suggestions...the roasted red peppers sound amazing!

not entirely meatless, bu not the traditional "meat"...We make one with ranch dressing, marinated artichokes, black olives, mozz and prosciutto. It's delish!!
