Home Office (& My Ikea Shopping Trip) - Updated with pics
What colors do you like with Yellow? I have a couple of ideas, but I was wondering what others thought too. I will have white furniture mostly with one piece that is a dark cherry wood right now. Hardwood floors. One window in room. (part of me is thinking to repaint the room, but I don't want to really paint, but I might have to. don't love it.) 
Here is a pic of the room when it was first painted. Sorry I don't have any other pic of the room because we haven't done anything with this room since we have moved in.

Thank you all for the inspiration. I went with the yellow, green & white colors. And they were easy to find at Ikea.

And this will be the desk that I will buy.
Hopefully in a month or so the office will be ready. And if any of you remember the post the "eddiesmommy" made recently about her office makeover, yes that is the same desk, just different color.  What can we say, we both have good taste. 
ETA: Everything together with the paint color behind it. And the lamp shade color is the green one.

Hey Jen- I have always like the yellow/Aqua (turquoise) color combination! Especially with White furniture it would be really crisp and clean (perfect for an office)
Just an idea...dont know if it would fit in with your classy design style
ETA: Forgot to mention that IKEA carrys a bunch of office type stuff in both colors

these colors were def. one of my ideas floating around in my head. So many different colors to just choose one is hard. And of course it would fit in with my design style. I have to go and check Ikea out in person. I think they have more in the store then online. Thanks!

I would prob just keep it simple with the yellow and white and since it's an office throw some chocolate accents to go with the one piece of brown furniture you have.

i always LLLLLLOOOOOOOOOVEDDDD yellow and blue, but yours is more buttercream and the blue i love wouldnt do it. but with your color, i'd love to see some dark accents in there, like black, or a deep deep navy...
can't wait to see what you do!!!

We have those ikea bookcases and i would love the desk idea!!
Great choice in colors and can not wait to see the finish product!

I actually went there today I saw them they were 16.99 and some other ones too...
Note to self - never go to IKEA on a Sunday and especially one as hot and humid as today - t'was a nightmare
