Holy sh!t!
I just did day one of Jillian Michaels 30 day shred......I almost died. I knew I was out of shape, but I didnt know it was THAT bad. That just kicked my @ss. I barely got through that. If youve done it and stuck with it did you find it getting easier, particularly if you almost died the first time you did it?

I'm on day 22, and the 3rd level.
I won't lie, it's tough but it gets easier if you stick with it.
When you jump a level it gets hard again(I jump after 10 days), but push through and it gets better

Re: Holy sh!t!
I am on day 5 with that video, it gets better, but I still have to modify a little bit here and there, just to catch my breath..I have not worked out in more than 2 years, so I have a LOOOONG way to go!

has it worked for you? Did you notice a difference?

Well-I'm in the midst of a struggle.
I'm also doing WW and after losing 25 pounds, I'm trying to break through a plateau. I thought 30 day shred would do the trick, but so far it hasn't.
I know I'm getting a good workout, but I think it is really a long term thing to build muscle and help you burn more calories in your resting state as opposed to a quick hit, burn tons of calories right away.
So, I'm finishing the 30 days straight (I set a goal to do this video 30 days without interruption and I really want to hit it-7 more days to go). Once that is done, I am going to rotate this DVD with a Cardio DVD. This way, I'll build muscle to help long term but also get some immediate results at the scale.
I think because you are just starting a diet and exercise program you may see quicker results. I've been doing WW since Feb so I need big cardio (I think!) to get to the next level.

Re: Holy sh!t!
The first time I used this video was last year before my wedding. It was KILLING me then. I thought I was going to die right there on the spot.... and I used to take kickboxing classes... I was like this should be nothing.. WRONG! LOL> It def. does get easier as you go. I finally just started up again tonight, and i thought i would be in the same way I was last year..but I was able to follow the 'advanced' things for level one...I know tomorrow I"ll be regretting it HAHA. I did sweat like there was no tomorrow tho...HAHA. I think tomorrow I"ll move back to level 2... I was on level one last year for almost 2 weeks. I wanted to make sure I was TOTALLY ok with it before moving ahead. I never got to level 3...LMAO. This time around I will be. In another week with level 1, you will see it's soooo much eaiser!! Keep it up
