Holtsville Ecology Park
Havent been there in ages but I figured it would be a nice place to go walknig with the twins today. Do they charge for parking?

Just as an FYI, they are re-doing the playground so the zoo is the only part that is open

I was just about to say that.. My kids were so upset about the playground..
but in either case, they will have a blast and it's gorgeous out! enjoy!

I was just about to say that.. My kids were so upset about the playground..

It's still not done yet. We were there about a month ago and it was closed. i figured they would be done by now. i'm just surprised they are re-doing the playground again, since it was just redone a few years ago.

What about the paved road around that giant hill? Would I be able to take them for a walk around that still?

It looks like they are building new paved paths and a fenced-in area into the parking lot.
We were there today too.
