hits just keep on coming

My insurance covers up to 18k for infertility lifetime, which includes IVF. My dr's office called and got approval, got the codes and I started my first round of IVF. 3 days later dr's office called and said that insurance is now denying my claim and if I wanted to continue I would need to pay 11k. My DH paid. I got DH company involved since everyone at insruance company couldnt understand why i was being denied and they ended up getting the brokers involved and got the denial overturned. I found out yesterday my first IVF was a failed one. I was set on gettng my $ back from Dr office as soon as the claims were paid by insurance. I checked the claims today to see if they were processed and DENIED again. So now, if I want to do this again I will have to pay out of pocket again and I can kiss the 11K goodbye. Just what I need before I start a 2nd round, if I start a 2nd round. Why is this happening to me?? I just don't get it. Sorry for the vent but today is just a bad day.

Keep calling. Mine gets automatically denied because I go out of network. I have to keep calling and calling and it finally gets processed.

I would keep calling, i would have my doctors office call, i would have my doctor call, i would have the office fill out any "forms" needed to submit for an appeal. and THEN, i would KEEP calling. Are you diagnosed with something or is it unexplained? How long have you been trying?

I HATE insurance companies, i KNOW exactly how frustrating it is. I am so sorry you are having to deal with this on TOP of everything else you are going through.
