my SIL goes every year. She has 5 kids, so they've been every age along the way. She loves it.

What are you going for? I'd say no. There is the beach, play grounds, etc.
There are also camp grounds, but I've heard you need a ressie a year out

We love it out there. As long as you have everything you need for the beach. You will have a blast. I bring my DD there who is 18 months old.
