His sock left a mark on his leg

Last night, I wasn't feeling well (I think now I'm getting sick ) so I asked DH if he could be on baby duty... He was still in his outfit with his socks on. Usually I will take everything off and leave his onesie on...

This morning, I see he slept in his outfit, but his socks were still on... and they were pulled up to his calf. I took them off and explained to DH that he cant sleep with his socks on. I gave him his bath, since I couldnt last night - we got home late from my stepdaughters school picnic...

Well, now he has this really red welt on his leg!!! It honestly looks like a whip mark - its really red and I think it will be there for a few days!

I got very upset - DH asked why he would be wearing socks that tight anyway - good point - but usually they are not pulled up his fat little calf, but scrunched around his ankle where they arent cutting off his circulation - they must have pulled up during the night or when DH was feeding him....

Will this go away? I'm so upset. It doesnt hurt him, but it looks awful and we have a graduation party to go to today!!! I dont want people to look at his leg and think I'm negligent!!!

Want to hear negligence...one day I put these cute slippers on DS. Well that whole day he was so fussy. I take of the slippers at night and he has blisters on the back of BOTH feet And, still, almost 2 months later, one heel still has a red mark I guess that's to remind me that I wasn't paying attention

If it doesn't seem to bother him, I wouldn't worry
