Re: hip pain??
I feel like my hips are going to fall off, and my knees are going to explode! My doctor said this is normal. I hope it immediately goes away as soon as he's born!

Re: hip pain??
I had that sooo bad for tue last few months of my first pregnancy. It was AWFUL!! The only thing I found that helped was sleeping with a pillow right under my hip and one between my knees. The good news is it totally goes away literally the second you give birth!

Re: hip pain??
I've been having this since the first trimester! I feel like I'm mentally going to break down, since sleep is so hard!
What I found yesterday, after bringing in my two chaise lounge cushions and putting them on my couch, was that it didn't press down as much in my hips and was wonderful to nap on!!! I am debating taking one into bed with me!
I make DH massage a lot too!

Re: hip pain??
Yesss! It's pretty annoying. I've been making a pillow fortress at night and found that putting a pillow under your butt/hips along with stacking two pillows between your legs helps alleviate the pressure on your hips, which lessens the pain. Although, when you get to the end, there isn't really much to help the all-around discomfort lol...

Re: hip pain??
I've been having this for a few weeks as well. Doing a lot of tossing during the night. I know it's only going to get worse as time goes on.

Re: hip pain??
sorry u are all going through this too!! I wish I had a recliner to sleep in! I am going to try adding more pillows, I thought the body pillow was enough. Poor DH with me and all these pillows... he looked at the huge body one the other night and was like, this thing is getting thrown out soon right?? I dont know if i will be able to part with it its so comfy LOL

Re: hip pain??
I am so relieved to know that I am not the only one with the hip pain that shoots down my legs at night. I am losing sleep from the tossing and turning

Re: hip pain??
Mine is SO bad, I actually thought that maybe it was a blood clot or something. It's more outer thigh for me. Doc said it's not a clot... just the pressure and changes that come along with carrying a baby. It's H-E-L-L. I do pile pillows underneath me so that my thigh isn't pressing down directly on the mattress and that helps a bit.
Glad to hear it goes away once the baby comes! Thank GOD!

Re: hip pain??
I have been having sharp hip pain since 20 weeks or so. It feels like it's bone-on-bone pain - sharp! And its on whichever hip I'm laying on. It starts about 2 hrs after I fall asleep, then I switch sides, 2 hrs go by, then that hip hurts, then I just toss and turn all night. It got to the point that one morning I was limping when I got to work! I got a "preggle" pregnancy pillow and it's helped -- not entirely curing the pain, but helping so that it's not so bad.
