its best to leave hair unwashed when going to get them correct?

wash your hair
its more important not ot wash for a day AFTER the hilights
just make sure your hair is fully dried with no product in it before you go

i always used to go with my hair not washed but by only 1 day ( I have greesy hair by that point) and I swore my highlights never lasted I dont think it could stick to the greese
now I go with it clean (not freshly washed but not more then a day old) and they seem to last longer
