High fluid levels?
I had a growth scan yesterday (29w2d) and then I saw my doc after. He said that the sono tech says the fluid levels are a little high. He said it is nothing to be concerned about, but he is waiting for the complete report from the sono.
Anyone have any experience with this? I am trying not to think about it, but it is hard - and I do not want to Google anything.
Thanks.

Re: High fluid levels?
Thanks so much. I know my doc told me not to worry, and he said it was "a little high". Oh well, we'll see what happens at my next appointment.

High fluid levels?
I had a lot of scans after 33 weeks. At an early one, they said it was kind of high. At a later one, they said it was kind of low. It was always within range, but they were still "concerned" enough to get the doctor to come check it. I wouldn't worry about it, especially since your Dr said not to worry. There is a large range of normal and they are just picking random pockets to measure. The doctor would come recheck me a few minutes later and come up with a number 5 points different.

Re: High fluid levels?
Happened to me at 34 weeks, and I nearly freaked out! My dr. wanted to do weekly NSTs and sono's to rule out anything bad, but it ended up being absolutely nothing. I had very healthy baby (but she did come a few weeks early). I think she knew how annoying it would be for me to go in every week and saved me the trouble! I know it is nerve wracking, though!

Re: High fluid levels?
I had borderline high fluid levels with DS1. There were no issues from that.

High fluid levels?
I had very high levels and they couldn't figure out why. They said it can be a result of gd but my numbers were so low no way I had gd. I was high risk already for clotting issues so started going on for weekly nst and sonos to keep an eye on it. My levels never went down
They did say that if my water broke to go right to the hospital bc could have complications but I do t remember what Baby girl came at 37 weeks and water broke at hospital. I will tell you it felt like water was pouring out of me Baby was fine Don't google!!!

Re: High fluid levels?
I had high fluid in my 3rd trimester. I ended up going into preterm labor etc but I had GD so that may have caused it. Baby was born early but he's a perfect 5 year old!
