Hiding TTC - but probably outed myself!
We were visiting with friends who have a 4 month old baby. The dad said something to me that I heard as, "So when are you having a baby?" And I answered, "Well, not in 9 months!" So he, his wife, and even my DH looked at me with this weird look, and the dad says, "Huh?" I said, "I'm not pregnant, so, not in 9 months!" And then he goes, "No!!! I asked when you're going to babysit!!" Oops!!! Clearly TTC and not getting pregnant the first try (like they did) was on my mind!!!

That's what she heard! haha! Her mind is so focused on TTC that she heard him wrong. He really said "When are you going to babysit?" haha, which is why everyone looked at her funny!
I don't think you outed yourself! I used to say this stuff all the time!
