when do you start feeling them??? how can you tell the difference between that and kicks/punches/headbutts?

Re: hiccups
hiccups are at a regular rhythm and you will feel them for a few minutes. plus for me they are a lot gentler than the kung fu fighting that's going on at other times.

i was able to start to feel them at like 21 weeks I think...but i dont feel them often. ive felt them two or three times so far (im 26 weeks). THe difference is that the hiccups are more rhythmic as opposed to the kicks/punches that are random

hiccups
I only just felt them for the first time this week (haven't felt them since ,either) and I'm 34 wk2days. I guess some babies just don't get them as often, some of my friends feel them everyday and have since the mid 20 wks!

Re: hiccups
I started feeling the hiccups around 29/30 weeks. It's like a rhythm that lasts only a few minutes.

Re: hiccups
I spoke too soon b/c I felt them tonight for the first time!!! So cool! I'm 26w1d.
The best way to describe it is it almost feels like a gentle heartbeat b/c it's every few seconds. But it's more gentle than when the baby moves or kicks. It was so cute!

Exactly!!! I felt them for the first time past week at 26 weeks. It lasted like 30 seconds and was at a steady rhythm. It happened a second time last week and for a second I thought it was my heartbeat in my stomach. Lol. It's the cutest thing!!
