Hi!! I'm new!
Hi everyone! I am a somewhat regular poster, but keeping mum on my TTC plans. I have been lurking here for almost 2 months and am already thankful for all of your advice.
I went of BCP in March after being on them for 10 years (Ortho Tri-clean for 1 year, Levlen for 5 years and Yasmin for 4 years). I had my regular withdrawl bleed on 3/14 and now am on CD 42 with no AF  I know it can take awhile for my body to get back on track, but just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. The only symptom I have had after coming off of BCP was some mild cramping and being a big cry baby! Just wondering if I should call the doctor (I am 28).
DH and I started TTC right away, but it is hard since I have no idea what my cycle is like. I took a few HPT and all BFN.
Thanks in advance for all of your advice. Hoping that this is a short journey for all!!

i was on BCP for about 2-3 years and i didn't O until the 3rd cycle! it's different for everyone but it could take a little time to readjust!

Hi!
I went off BCP in september. I wasn't taking them for very long, but when I came off I had one regular cycle and then one cycle that was almost 50 days. After that 2nd month my cycles went back to normal.
I think what you described is normal, but you can always call your dr if you're worried. I have seen a lot of people describe the same thing on here.

I went off BCP in December and had a regular cycle the first month, 37 days month 2, and 48 days month 3. I'm hoping it gets a little better. My gyno did not seem to be too concerned, but it is quite annoying. I also get cramps when I ovulate, along with boob soreness and then terrible cramps when AF comes. I never had that before...GL!
