Hi Everyone!!
what's everyone been up to this weekend??
i had family over yesterday. 
who knew there was sooo much work involved with entertaining and feeding people!!!

OMG! My absolute favorite part about last night?
My mom saying how delicious the new potato salad was.
It was the only dish I DIDN'T make myself, and bought from the deli.!!! 
forget about the two roasted chickens, baked ham, asparagus, rice, and hearty veg. salad i made!!!

Isn't that always how it happens? The one dish you don't break your butt making is the one everyone raves about!

ohhh..that's ANOTHER thing...
I told my mom to be here at 3:00. They showed up at 2:00!!!! I was still cooking and prepping, and I wasn't even dressed yet!!!!!!! 
THEN, while we were STILL eating, she wanted me to start the coffee!!!
geez...talk about wanting to rush outta here!!

We went to see Simba today. It was LOVE   at first sight. What a loving and fun dog. All he wanted was attention and love. I didnt want to leave him and he didnt want to leave me. I cant wait till he comes home with us. He honestly does not shed as bad as I had imagined. He did shed but very little.
Tomorrow I am working in the garden and relaxing
