Hi Everyone...
I am finally feeling like myself today. Only 11 days after having a c-section. Initially, I was in a lot of pain, but everyday I feel better.
I went to the hospital at 6:00 a.m. The cathater and IV were a little unpleasant, but the spinal was not bad at all. Two hours later Alanna & Bridget were born. The were born at 8:06 and 8:07 weighing 5lbs, 10 ounces and 6lbs 4 ounces & were 19 inches long. I was thrilled when they were given the okay to go to the regular nursery. I felt so relieved after worrying so much for 9 months. Well... needless to say I got myself so worked up that my blood pressure started to spike and I had to stay in recovery until the next day.
The whole experience was amazing though and I am so happy that I finally got to meet my 2 little girls.
Just wanted to say hello and thank everyone for all of your kind words and wishes.
I already have a million questions! & I have been thinking of you girls as I am trying to manage their schedule and feedings.
They have already gained 6 ounces each and the pediatricians think they are identical but I think they look so different.

Yeah Melissa!! SOOOO Happy for you. Your experience sounds just like mine.....maybe one day my identical boys can meet your identical girls.
Hopefully you have a lot of help. The first few weeks are really tough so hang in there!!!
