Hey Floridians
It's COLD outside!!!! Today is the first time I've worn closed toe shoes - other than sneakers - since I moved here! And I'm wearing a sweater!
Deb and Melissa - it must be even colder up by you!

Closed toe shoes - how horrible! I'll be thinking of you as I dress in 5 layers today

I'm in Upstate NY and I do not feel bad for you at all!  It was in the single digits last night and in the teens today.
News Flash....
50 degrees IS NOT COLD!!!!!!!!!!!! My dad is in Sunrise and he was B!tching about it to me over email this morning. I emailed him back...Ummmm, really not wanting to hear you complain about spring-like weather when it snowed here last night, then turned to ice overnight, was in the single digits and I had to shovel it this morning.

I have only been a Southerner for 3 months and 50 degrees is freezzzzzzzzzing down here.  If I cannot wear flip flops, it is cold.

I put the heat on last night. Today I have on a heavy turtle neck. This weather is nuts.
Though I am getting a kick out of seeing people wearing down jackets, scarves, hats, and gloves like they are heading into a snow storm

That is nuts. Those folks do not know what COLD is.
You should walk into my office, one person had on a long leather coat. Another person is walking around wearing a scarf and gloves. It's cold but it isnt that cold

40 in jacksonville, a bit chilly but oh so sunny and blue. still wearing open toed shoes, though w/long pants not capris...gotta love the weather - it makes up for everything else that florida lacks

So funny, b/c everyone in my office is complaining how cold it is... they all have two layers on with sweaters on and some of them are wearing heavy coats! I was at all of them.
I like when it gets into the 50's - 60's like this once in a while.
I actually did wear closed-toe shoes also for the first time in a while.
Don't worry, it's back up to 75 tomorrow and 80 by the weekend!

Having spent most of last night and all of today outside at the barn nursing my very sick horse in 19 or below temps (5 with the windchill), I'd LOVE to be in FL right now... closed toed shoes or not!

50's is a heat wave to me.. you do not know cold untill you have to warm up your feet after you take off your shoes because your toes are cold...
My sister lives in parkland and when she comes up here and it 30 she is freezing...
