Hershey Park Itinerary
this is what I plan to do:
Going for 1 night (can't do longer) with 2 kids.
Day 1: planning on getting to PA around noon or so. Have lunch, check out The Lodge and any things to do there. Go to Chocolate World for about a couple of hrs and do the preview of Hershey Park at 6:30pm. Park closes at 10.
Day 2: breakfast then go to park 1 hr early. Do waterpark first and then dry rides. Only doing kiddie rides. No roller coasters or adult rides. And then head home.
Is this a good plan?
Any suggestions or other itinerary to share? Thanks!!

Re: Hershey Park Itinerary
Sounds good for one night. FYI, preview is 2.5 hours, so you'll get to the park at 7:30.
I would personally just do the dry rides first if you are getting to the park early and save the wet ones for the afternoon when you'll really want to cool off.
Have fun!

Hershey Park Itinerary
When I called Hershey Lodge, they said we can preview 3.5 hrs earlier. Unless I misunderstood.
Thanks!

I am almost certain it is 2.5 hrs. We just went to Hershey this past weekend. We calculated that we could get to the parks at 7:30pm since park closed at 10pm. We ended up skipping the preview because it was too late for us.
I also agree with dry rides first. I don't know if this week is at all similar to last week but the water area had lines. I had never waited in line for a shallow pool before.
On Sunday, our last day, we took the kids to Zoomerica at 10am opening. I think it was $11. My kids love animals and enjoyed that part. It was a nice break since Hershey was so crowded.
eta: I just checked the hotel Hershey website and it is 3.5 hrs. That must be an additional perk for on site guests. I did not know it was different!

Is it a lot of walking? I'll be 31 weeks pg when we go.
Also, did you do Chocolate World? If so, which activities are worth it? I see some can be expensive! TIA

We did the free Hershey tour. It was fine, nothing special. I liked being indoors. It was HOT last weekend.
I would be more uncomfortable with heat than walking. Kids weren't complaining but all the parents were!

It's a very big park and the kiddie rides are scattered. So yes alot of walking if you wan to hit all of the kiddie rides.
