Hershey Park
We are thinking of going to Hershey Park and wondered if there were must see/do things there. Any advice for places to go surrounding the park? Where would you go to eat?

Re: Hershey Park
We went the last two summers. Last year we stayed at the Hershey High Meadow Campground and loved it.
I highly recommend the breakfast with the characters at the park. The food was great, plus you get into the park an hour before its open to the public. The Boardwalk area is awesome (the water park area). I love the Roller Soaker! I would spend at least two full days in Hershey Park. Chocolate World is right next to it. We usually visit it a few times while we're there. The ride through the chocolate factory is free. We did the "make your own chocolate bars", that was a lot of fun!

Re: Hershey Park
We love Hershey Lodge. Stay there every time and only will stay there.
You can do HP in 2 days, so as not to rush. The resort has a lot, there are so many nearby attractions. Lancaster has loads of things to do (Amish, Kitchen Kettle Village, Dutch Wonderland, etc). Others can tell you more about all this. I just enjoy mostly spending my time at Hershey Park and the hotel.
We stayed 5 days and honestly ran out of time. Did HP 2.5 days, DW one day, and traveled home the other day. I wanted to do so much more but we ran out of time.
