I stayed at the Hershey Hotel. My BFF and I had a spa weekend.
Pricey, but well worth it.

I used to work there...basically it depends on your tastes...The Hotel Hershey is more elegant, and spa-like. The Hershey lodge is more of a laid back, casual atmosphere...
Both are great, it just depends on what kind of place you're looking for...

I've stayed at both and I agree, it depends what you're looking for. The Hotel is top of the line, absolutely impeccable everything... the lodge is a little less formal but has a great lobby with a bar and huge fireplaces for relaxing

We stayed at the Lodge and loved it. It's more family oriented (IMO) and it seemed right for us with 2 kids.
I'd love to stay at the Hotel someday.

look into the Suites at Hershey. Its not a "hershey hotel" but we stayed there last year and got a 2bed room 2bath suite for what a hotel at the Hershey hotels would cost us. And from our room we could see the roller coasters! it was really a great value!
