I really like that show. It reminds me of LOST with that whole "what the f**k is going on???" aspect.
What is the deal with the blond with the killer mirror reflection??? How does that make her a hero?

YES. I thought that in the first episode too. I don't think that feeling will ever go away though.
We like it so much better than any of the other new shows. I'm not that enamored with the dual personality chick either.
By the way, does anyone else think that the neighbor of the Indian professor who died is actually a bad guy? Or bad girl, as it were? I just think it's strange, the way she talks about him.

We thought the same thing about the neighbor. Like she's a plant to spy on the professor's son.
My big question for the night...
was EVERYTHING we were seeing happening on November 8th, or just the parts with Hiro?
And I was so glad the younger brother found out he could fly too! I was going to be really upset for him.

I know!! I don't like his brother. I was so glad he could fly without him.
But I think that's the whole point. To root for the characters.
That's a good question about Hiro. I don't think the rest was November. Because remember the heroin addict coming to and the girlfriend telling him he almost overdosed?

I absolutely LOVE this show!!!
I THINK the parts with Hiro will/ might happen on Nov.8th
So I guess that means the artist guy is still alive, right?
I like the guy who plays the cop. He was on Felicity, right?
Not understanding the whole double personna thing. Weird!
And some parts were pretty gory...it was cool!
The Manhattan thing is very scary. Why did they have to pick Manhattan of all places? That's the only thing that bothers me. 
Otherwise...awesome!!!

i was so confused last night. why did two people have their heads sliced off? why was that guy frozen? i'm beginning to think that maybe claire's father is not evil, it just doesn't make sense. maybe he's trying to protect her?
fyi - the girl that has the double i read is supposed to be like an incredible hulk type character it's her split personality

I've been thinking about all the NYC based shows and movies. I never really noticed it before. Is it just me, or are there A LOT of things based in NY?
The dual personality girl, someone here explained last week, is like an Incredible Hulk kind of character. When gets emotional, her other persona, the one that's stronger than she is, acts on it. And she doesn't remember anything after the fact.
How creepy was it when she opened the trunk? Even I cringed.

That's why I was thinking that several of the story lines were happening in the future, and that Cheerleader's creepy dad is finding all the people who have superpowers and cutting open their heads to study their brains.
Maybe the frozen guy had powers to freeze things. And we know the artist has the ability to see the future.
I definitely think he's evil.
I can't wait for her to figure it out.

The rest of the storyline is still October.
The brothers live in NYC too & intheir story, the older brother is still campaigning & the city didn't blow up yet. So the cartoonist isn't dead yet either.

Ahhh....very good. I was wondering about the brain removal thing! Very good observation. Or maybe he's stealing their brains to extract some superhero genes to make like 1 crazy powerful superhero machine!!!

I love this show!!
But I totally don't get Ali Lareter's superpower? Why couldn't her "alter ego" just dispose of the bodies too? I just don' get this part yet 
I think the guy is cutting out the brains to study them.
My personal theory:
either the doctor is alive or the neighbor is in with the people who killed him.

I don't get this character either. The incredible Hulk didn't remember what he did after the fact, but didn't leave David Banner little notes to follow up on what he did while he was the Hulk.
I missed the first show, but DH and I really liked it last night. I think the cheerleader's dad is evil after seeing him watching the video of her at the very end of the episode.

I missed the part where the son was explaining how his father was tracking these special people down?
Do you think the cheerleader's dad knew all along about her powers or is he just now stumbling upon it?
Also, I'm confused with the Incredible Hulka. Why didnt the alter ego just bury the bodies herself? Also, what's with the dead body all ready buried there?
I didnt like the blond FBI agent that put the officer under arrest.

I think last night was a dream sequence because the man who writes the comics about Hiro is in the next episode...he is alive an well.
Rory's bf ( from Gilmore girls) is a total moron. One minute he is convinced he is depressed and the next minute he can fly. He is the one who organizes the Heroes next week to fight a villian. I think Ali Larter ( the reflection chic) is the villian.

I'm new to the boards, but I had to comment on Heroes!
I really like this show - hate the images of New York being blown up (pretty thoughtless of the writers).
My theory is that the cheerleader's dad is the evil guy who is killing off the people with the powers. I also was wondering if Claire's birth parents will turn out to be the people with the super powers (i.e. the killed frozen guy and his wife or perhaps Ali Larter's character - depending on how old she is supposed to be).
ETS: I meant her biological parents (not her adoptive parents)  .

Maybe that's what's motivating her dad to kill them. Find the the other superheros old enough to be her biological parents and kill them.

I think she's a person who means well (stripper with a good heart) but her split personality side . . . well, a little crazy. I don't understand how it fits in yet.
