Here's some hope

I just wanted to pass along a little story of hope - actually two stories.

1) The first I think I had mentioned on here before. My aunt, back in the late 70's early 80's - when you didn't even know you were preggo until about 8 weeks - had FIVE miscarriages. You read that right, FIVE CONSECUTIVE MISCARRIAGES. Again, this is before IVF really was being used. She went on to have 2 amazing daughters, my incredible cousins.

2) The second is my grandmother on my other side of the family. Back in the 50's it took her about 3-4 years before having kids. And no, they weren't practicing birth control (that just wasn't done back then, lol). She isn't certain, but she thinks she had a couple of miscarriages in the process. She then FINALLY got pregnant with my mother, and proceeded to have FOUR kids in FIVE years.

These two stories (and actually a few others in my family) like these give me such a strong sense of hope that it WILL happen I just had to share them with you ladies, because we ALL could use a little extra.

** Just a side note, both of these women overcame their issues in times BEFORE major fertility meds were used - both would have gotten there unmedicated.

Here's some hope

Here's another one. My dad's oldest sister was told she could never have children. She is 75, so this was years and years ago. She adopted a baby from Ireland, and then had EIGHT of her own children naturally thereafter.

This is what I'm talking about! Sometimes it just takes a while (and a good long while) for it to start - and then apparently it would seem in some cases it doesn't stop!

I know it's so hard to remember when you're staring at a BFN or having (yet another) MC, but I have to believe that when it's meant to happen it will!
