here we go again

Hi ladies I'm a regular poster in hiding. We are TTC our second child. I started using the new CB ovulation kits and I got smileys 3 days in a row. We have been BDing since . Today I got a blank ....what the hell happened? did I miss my O? or I didn't O? my periods are irregular so it's really hard to tell. Anyone has success stories with just the blink smileys?

It can be a lot of lot of things.

You could have missed it, you could have geared up to ovulate and then you body did not release an egg, maybe urine was diluted??

I would test again tonight and tomorrow.

I would honestly considering temping inconjuction with OPKs. It's easy and it takes anyway a lot of anxiety. Unfortunately, if you are not temping there is no way to be sure if you ovulated and if you missed it or not.

Hmm...which test did you use--- I use the CBE Digital OPK - but not the ones that give you flashing smileys--- its either a solid smiley or blank. Like you, I get 2-3 days of a smiley. After that, it goes blank again (I heard you arent supposed to test after getting the first smiley, but I do anyway) -- I thought that was normal, i.e. you have an LH surge when you are going to ovulate, and then it goes back to normal. Is that not true?? I seem to get cramping when the smiley comes, so I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating.

I am using the advance. With baby #1 I used the regular and we got pregnant in the first try I saw the smiley 1 time and then I stopped testing. With the advance I got a flashing smiley 3 days in a row. I tested twice yesterday and I got flashing smileys both morning and evening. this morning I tested again and nothing. I did feel ovulation pain. I am in tune with my body and I know when I'm about to ovulate because I start feeling pains and my boobs start hurting which I felt that 2 days ago. I also saw a little of EWCM but not a lot like I've seen in the past. I'm confused with these new OPKs ...I will test again and I will see
