heparin/lovenox girls when did you stop
taking the blood thinners towards the end of your pregnancy? I'm just about 40 weeks and I'm still taking them. I get major anxiety every time b/c I was told no epi unless my last dose was 12 hours prior.
Also, what if, G*d forbid I need an emergency C...wouldn't the blood thinners be a problem. My doc is so whatever about it.

I was worried about the same thing about the epi. I also think there is something they can give you to reverse the effects of the heparin in the case for an emergency C-Section. Sorry, I am not much help, i'm only 8 weeks...but I did google that the other day. You are switched to Heparin now?
I went to my hematologist this week and her plan was to stop me around week 20. Which makes me a little worried.....I would rather take the whole time for peace of mind.

wow week 20. why is she stopping it so early? I'm on heparin right now. I guess if I feel anything (labor) coming on I'll just stop taking it. Good luck to you!!!

I'm in week 24 and still on lovenox
my Dr said I will switch to heparin around week 38 because of the possibility of a c-section.
