Heparin
Any of you ladies on heparin? I have been on lovenox my entire pregnancy and now they are switching me to heparin because it has a shorter half life? The only thing is, I just filled the prescription and they gave me the heparin, but no needles. The lovenox was great because it came already in the needles, and I did not have to worry about it, but the pharmacy said I need a seperate prescription for the needles? Does it make sense to give me the drug, but not the empty syringe to fill it??? So frustrating!! TIA

Re: Heparin
I was switched to heparin from lovenox at 36 weeks. My dr gave me a prescription for the needles, I think they are insulin needles for diabetics. I would call your dr to call in a script. Good luck!
