"helper" medications
if the doctor gives me provera next week to "jump start" my cycle, what is usually the next step after that? Do they wait and see if your next cycle is normal?

When my doctor prescribed Provera, she told me she was trying to "jump start" my cycle (I was without a cycle for just about 6mths off BCP at that point)...and if I didn't see a normal pattern emerge in 3 mths, to come back and she's start me up on Provera AGAIN, this time with a round of Clomid.
Also, with the Provera, it's a great opportunity to start BBT charting and/or OPK tests if you haven't done so already. Then, at least, you have a "start date"!
