HELP: Would a PG test show up if.....
its only been 2 wks since my last period? Would i even HAVE symptoms this early????

If you mean the first day of your last period- then I think that's impossible. In MOST (certainly not all) cases, you ovulate about 2 weeks after your period, so technically you may be ovulating now. A HPT usually won't detect a pregnancy until after implantation which is about 8-10 days after you ovulated. So, I think a pg cannot be detected until, at the very earliest, you're about 3 weeks along.

I know that they say your body can become used to the pill, and then you can ovulate. I'm not positive though....also, I have heard that the earliest you can ovulate is 8 days after you get your period....hope that helps!

Its very unlikely that you'd have any symptoms just yet if you were PG .. and you would not get an accurate reading on a pregnancy test at this point whatsoever.
If you are a person with a normal, 28 day cycle, and it's been 2 weeks since your last AF -- you would have probably JUST ovulated, like yesterday or today (this is assuming that you ovulated on day 14 of your cycle lfor example) So if you had conceived, you'd only be like a day or two past conception.
I will say that some people DO feel a little 'different' immediately after conceiving so of course there is always a possibility that you are PG.. but again, I'd think it was highly unlikely.
As for being on the pill - its not typical to become preggo on the pill BUT all it takes is one screw up (missing one pill) to conceive while on it! I know of at least 2 ladies firsthand who got preggo on the piill
If you really think you *may* be preggo, you probably need to wait at LEAST a week before you test, if not a bit longer for a more accurate reading.

My daughter was conceived on October 18,2003. I took a test on October 25th and it was positive. I was 7 days pregnant.....

If your daughter was conceived on the the 18th, then your AF was probably about 2 wks before that - so technically, you were about 3 wks along. Aren't your automatically about 2wks preggo the day you conceive (since it is calculated based on the first day of your last period)?

My Dr told me yesterday there are 2 ways to calculate. Weeks since LMP & weeks in gestation. These dates are 2 weeks apart. My Dr. calculates weeks in gestation.
So my LMP was Sept 1, I O'd on the 14th, conceived on the 15th. I am 6w LMP and 4wG. Does that make sense?
