Help with DH Sperm Analysis Results

I just got them back yesterday, but the nurse called me with the info. I am still waiting for the doctor to call me today to go over one of the results (mainly because the nurse deals with female factor and the RE would go over the male factor with me)

She told me that DH's Morphology was 3% and that 4% or higher was average. She told me not freak out about it because its borderline - but does anyone else have any advice/words of wisdom them can impart? He was fine in all other areas.

my DH had slightly low morphology. our RE did a DNA defrag SA to see what the real issue was and it turned out he had high oxidation levels. the treatment was a specific antioxidant vitamin. we never had issues getting pregnant due to the low morphology, it was all my issues. he always produced great samples and for our IVF we bypassed the morphology with ICSI anyway so it wouldn't have mattered. slightly low shouldn't be a big issue.

We had similar results. Our RE told us that she's had many patients with similar numbers all have healthy pregnancies and that by being with the RE we are in the right place. She recommended IUI for us.

Dh's was 3% as well and then the day of our IUI it was 5%. So it must just flucuate with each sample. Dh had to go to a urologist (i think) and they gave him the all clear that everything is fine.

So overall it wasn't a big deal, but they suggested doing IUI since his guys could use the jump start lol

my DH had zero motility and his morphology was very low, so considering 4% is the norm, and your DH is 3%, I think that's pretty good if you ask me!

I agree with the PP, going for an IUI will bypass alot of the swimming for his little guys lol.
