Got our semen analysis results back
It looks like we have some abnormal results
His count was low: 8 million
mobility was normal: 56%
morphology was low: 2%
So they want to do a repeat test.
We are thinking we will do a medicated IUI for a few cycle before moving on to IVF.
What can I expect with a medicated IUI?

What can I expect with a medicated IUI?
The medicated IUIs can be something as easy as taking Clomid for 5 days or more involved liek doing Gonal F shots a number of days.
This was my Clomid schedule at 150 mg
CD 2 had day 2 exam, started 150mg Clomid
CD 3 (1) 150mg Clomid pill
CD 4 (1) 150mg Clomid pill
CD 5 (1) 150mg Clomid pill
CD 6 (1) 150mg Clomid pill
CD 9 One week Clomid follow-up exam. (1) follicle at 11
CD 14 (1) 15, (1) 13, (1) 12
CD 19 did ovidrel shot at 8:30pm
CD 21 IUI at 8:30 am

I wouldn't get upset just yet. Many factors can affect sperm and specimens may vary. Definitely have another analysis done and take it from there.
My DH did 2 and they came back with completely conflicting results - we are on to #3!!!!!!!!!!!

There are vitamins you can take that may help improve sperm count.
Vitamin C is very important as is selenium and zinc.
DH also took Pycnogenol which is like an antioxidant...that helps with the morph.
I will try to find the list and FM u.
FYI: We had severe MF and got pregnant on our first IVF/ICSI. I would reccomend also going for a repeat SA since SA tend to fluctuate.

Yes, DH took Fertility Blend and I really think it helped him.
