Help! Sick as a dog!

I have been drinking hot water with lemon and honey all day long, which definitely helps, but I still have a ton of congestion. Every time I blow my nose it's bloody. And, my eye is very watery/*****. I don't want to take any medicine. Anyone else have any other recommendations?

I used a nasal saline spray...it is drug free and will help with the congestion.

the dreaded virus is going around! Im starting to get over it - its been a week already. enlarged tonsils that my throat was killing me, lots of ear pain & pressure and swollen lymph nodes due to the amount of congestion.

i tried everything, went to the dr and he said to use a decongestant. i of course called the ob and he said sudafed, zyrtec, claritin, benedryl any of those were perfectly ok to use (not the night ones)... i used them along with the nose spray. 2 hrs after i took the zyrtec i felt 80% better..

feel better - when its really bad and ur dr says its ok to take something - u might as well take it

have you considered a neti pot (sinus wash)?
