No way. Even if child was ok, I wouldn't. There is no point... The snow will be sticking around for a while anyway

I only say to cold since your child had a fever yesterday. Otherwise 15-30 minutes bundled up sledding wouldn't harm them.

This! If one of my boys was just sick I'd say know bc getting them healthy is my #1 priority. If they were fine then I think outside today isn't too bad. It is cold out, but no wind right now so it really wasn't so bad. I was out with the boys for about 30 - 45 mins and it was fine.

Agreed. DD went out for about 15-20 minutes yesterday afternoon and loved every second of it.

I took ours out. Fully dressed, lots of layers, mittens, snow pants & coat.

Took 5 minutes for him to start really complaining about cold.

Took our 2 year old 4 minutes.

We did make it down a hill twice in a sled.

He is kinda right about one thing...the cold can't make someone sick. Bacteria/viruses make someone sick. BUT the cold won't make them feel great...if you are recovering from not feeling well the cold air may not be the greatest. It can also make breathing more difficult if there is any respiratory issues.

Oh yeah I agree that it can't make you sick but with a fever and cough not a great idea.

this. Our 2.5yo was outside yesterday for about 20 minutes playing with his brother. My 6yo stayed out longer. But due to the fever your child had, its a stay in side day!

Last snow storm DS2 was just getting over croup. So we waited until his nap time to go outside and play this way he never had to leave the nice warm house, and I didnt have to deal with the fight it would have been if he saw his brother outside and he wasnt allowed!

If he had a fever the day before I wouldn't take him out. I'd wait a few days. It's going to snow again Saturday!
