HELP: Need suggestions for an awkward window.

I need some sort of window treatment for my DD's room. What would you do with this window??

(the window is a little cut off on the left in the picture, but it's just as long on that side as it is on the side toward her name)

Re: HELP: Need suggestions for an awkward window.

we have he same windows in DS room.

we got curtain rods that dont have a dectorative end (it is just a flat end) and put them into the corner and hung just like for any other window

I would get a custom window cornice made and then hang panels on each end as well as in the corner to make it look like a break

I would also get bamboo or wood blinds and extend them down past the window sills to add height to that room. If you don't like the hades get sheers and hang them.

I am not a parent nor do I claim to be Chat Icon but looking at that picture the baby looks too close for comfort to those blind strings hanging down. That would make me nervous.

She can't reach them yet. That's the reason for this post though... because I need to take those down and find something to replace them with.

panels like that yes, but I would do a window cornice over the top so you don't see the rods let me see if I can find a pic

Can you place her crib on a non window wall? because she could play with the panels in you hang them and I wouldn't think that would be good or safe, but I don't have babies so I'm not sure

this was my idea with the sheers to add length but it doesn't have a cornice at the top

a cornice that size will be suctom and costly and I'm not sure you want to spend all that much so I would just try for the above pic if you can mover her crib off that wall
