HELP need advise please

WWYD if you just found out you were pregnant and you expected due date is on your bff's wedding? I am in the wedding and fully intend on going as long as I'm not in labor. I don't know how to break the news. Don't get me wrong I am excited about pregnancy I just wasn't expecting this now! I just don't want anyone to be disappointed and I want to be there for my friend more than anything..

When your ready I would tell her...and I would assume you probably can't be in the wedding just in case??

I am also in my friends wedding, but I will be 6 months preggo then. I am not thrilled about it, but I want to be there for my friend. But...since you will be due, I am not sure it is a good idea.

i am in my friend's wedding in two months.

we were TTC, but decided to stop since my dress is tight as is. then i thought about it, and considered all the factors, and i told DH i don't want to stop just because of the wedding. if we get pregnant, i will let her know what's what and let her decide what she wants to do- let me wear a different dress or have me sit out.

i think your friend will understand and probably be thrilled for you!

i wouldnt stress over it...a best friend would understand. esp since this cannot be planned so to speak (its not like youre saying you may not be able to go bc you are going on vacation). I would just be honest and start the convo out by saying you have exciting news to share and you are so thrilled etc...and then ease into the fact that your due date is on her wedding. let her know as long as you arent in labor that you will be there to celebrate with her.

Like PP said when you are ready tell your friend. I would tell her that you still want to take part in the wedding but may be she should have a back up plan in case you go into labor/already had the baby.

That's if you want to still take part in the wedding. If not then be 100% upfront when you're ready and tell her you don't want to buy a dress because there's a chance you will not be wearing it.

I was in my friend's wedding at 7months pregnant and the cost of alterations were insane not to mention I popped right before her wedding, had to order more material and reconstruct the dress It was a nightmare! Just something to think about.
