Help! Nasty Cough
Chelsea has an awful cough. TMI but it is phelmy (sp?) and her nose is runnig like crazy. No fever....what can I do for her. She is sooo miserable.
ETA: kinda breathing heavy.

do you have a humidifer going in her room? That helps DD when she is sick.

My DS has the same thing and has a fever from teething. My Ped put him on zythromycin also said to bring him in the bathroom 5 times a day with a steamy shower going to break up the mucous. Hope your DD feels better!

well with my DD who is only 7 1/2 mths we have just been using the cool mist humidifier and when she was a bit younger we put the crib wedge in. Other than that , I'm no help!

Phlegmy is probably a good thing. Means its kind of lose.
I would just try to keep the cool midst humidifier running in any room she is in, especially when sleeping at night. Sleeping on an incline should also help keep it out of her throat at night.
