HELP My Sony digital cybershot camera is taking blurry pictures. How can I fix this?
I've had the camera for about 4 years and now I'm having issues with it and I'm not sure if it should be tossed.
Out of lets say 10 pictures I take only 3 would come out clear with great color quality. The rest is a funky color and will be blurry oddly on one of side of the picture. Def. seems like there is an issue with the camera itself and not a setting. The camera has been droped I would say 3 times out of the 4 years. Could this be fixed? It def. does not take the quality pictures I've been taking when I first got it.

OK this may sound super duper obvious but take a lclose ook at the lens, do you have a lens cleaning cloth??? That's the first thing that comes to mind since the blur is only on one side of the image???

The pictures I take look exactly like this
My pictures look like this
You'll see a little boy sitting on a chair and only the chair is in focus. Should of explained it better than saying blurry just on one side.

I've been playing with the settings based on what the above like is saying about those kinds of pictures and I found something that said focus on focus off and focus auto. I put it on focus auto and took pictures of my hand waving and it actually came out still in the pic and clear! So I think I fixed it. I'm going to take some pics of the kids outdoors and hopefully they will be ok. I really don't want to buy another camera.

My husband did borrow the camera for about week for his work and I think he changed the settings by accident maybe. Hopefully this is it!

mine was much worse then that pic
you couldn't see anything but white lines and blury spots
