Help! Morning sickness!!

I am losing it, I don't know what to do to stop if! I have tried everything. I find a lot of stuff leaves a nasty after taste in the sides if my tongue- and salt helped this weekend literally as long as I was eating potato chips I was fine.

Please share your tips and coping strategies!!

TIA!

Help! Morning sickness!!

As soon as I feel OK I make sure I eat something. These days I am ok when I get up so I make sure to have a decent breakfast. Then I rely on Jolly Rangers, they seem to keep the sick feeling at bay .. for now. I hope you get some relief soon!

Re: Help! Morning sickness!!

constantly chew something. for me it was that after taste that always made me soo sick. the second i was done eating i would feel horrible. so things like ice chips would help. the newest thing for me at 31 weeks that helps - Dentyne Fire gum. zaps that horrible after taste and has helped a lot. wish i would have tried that in the first trimester.

also if you cant drink water, try seltzer or lemon water. water was my biggest enemy in the beginning.

Re: Help! Morning sickness!!

chewing gum has been my lifesavor

The smell of anyting makes me want to throw up-
I tried it all, crackers, ginger teas
Ginger ale, now a seaband

Its really hard in the am for me, and then hits me again hard at night

i do not want to use any meds- we had fertility issues and trying to keep all natural

I tried it all; saltines, ginger ale, preggie pops. I finally asked my doc for Zofran and since then I have not had that queasy feeling.

Re: Help! Morning sickness!!

never let yourself get hungry!!! eat something small every hour or two.

i found salty processed foods helped the best for me. gignerale worked for a bit but it started to make me nauseous. sparkling water has been a huge help.

Help! Morning sickness!!

late light snack at night....snack on a few crackers or pretzels before getting out of bed in the morning. carry around pretzels and crackers to snack on, drink plenty of water, or ginger ale or seltzer. sucking on jolly ranchers or any candy helped me. OH oh oh ohhhh I just remembered, that PREGGIE DROPS/POPS helped me!! I got the organic ones at babies r us and they are cheap too!

ughh good luck. I'm 32 weeks and still get morning sicknesss....

Re: Help! Morning sickness!!

pretzel goldfish, sea salt & vinegar chips, ginger candies, crystalized ginger. Graham crackers, I swear i gain 4 lbs just keeping the MS away. Water in the am is my enemy I cannot drink it i have to have Grapefruit or something with flavor just to get it down.
Preggie pops just didnt work for me

Re: Help! Morning sickness!!

Zofran is the only thing that worked for me. I still have to force myself to eat because I have no appetite. I am still taking it at 23 weeks.
