Help me with possibly dropping a bottle

So this is my kids current schedule

Wake up 8:30 Bottle
9:30-10 Breakfast- finger foods, cereal fruit

10:30 Nap

12:30 Bottle

1:30 Lunch-finger foods, cereal, veg

2:30 Nap
4-BOTTLE-THIS IS THE ONE I"D LIKE TO DROP

5 Dinner-finger foods, protein and veg with cereal

6:45-7 Bottle
7-7:15 Bed

The reason why I would like to drop the 4 bottle is because they don't seem to want their bedtime bottle but then they wake up and seem to want a bottle in the night. What do you think?

What I did when I dropped a bottle was add a little more formula to DS's other bottles so that the total amount of formula he got for the day was the same, he just got it in 3 bottles instead of 4.

If he seemed to be hungrier during the day, I gave him an extra fruit, usually appleasuce. Eventually, you want them to eat more solids and less liquid anyway. Maybe if they are looking for something around 4, you can give them some fruit or give them dinner a little earlier until they get used to the change in the bottles.

ETA: Melissa, I also wanted to add, I always kept the morning and night bottles - it was the afternoon one I played with. I think what I used to do was give lunch on the earlier side like noonish, and the afternoon bottle was around 2 or 3.

DD is 7.5 months old and I'm trying to do the same thing, she doesn't seem too interested in her late afternoon bottle. Some days she takes it, other days she doesn't. My ped suggested we increase her other bottles to eliminate one bottle so she's still getting the same amount of formula but 4 bottles a day instead of 5.

I haven't tried it yet though.....
