Help me wean!
Dd is almost 14 months and still nurses to sleep and wakes in the middle of the night to nurse. I need to nip that before school starts or I'm in for being a zombie.
With my son, night nursing was the last to end. I think with my daughter, it needs to be the first to go.
What advice do you have? I'm not against periodic daytime nursing but I need to stop the night nursing.

Re: Help me wean!
DD is 13 months and we just weaned her from the middle of the night feeding(s)... Knock on wood. Initially, my husband went in when she cried so that eliminated me feeding her. After a few nights of this, as painful as it was, we let her cry it out. It was awful but by the third night or so, she was able to put herself back to sleep with a smaller amount of crying and for the past week she's been sleeping through the night. We can hear her getting up sometimes but she just makes a few noises and falls back asleep. Hope this helps!

Help me wean!
My husband got up with DD in the middle of the night and comforted her back to sleep until she got used to not having milk when she woke.

Help me wean!
My DS was older (22 months), but one night I went into his room and said, "you're a big boy, go back to bed." He fussed a bit, but has sttn since. He's now 27 months.
