Help Me Decide Where to Register!!

Ok so here is part of the reason I have been sluggish on registering (other than wanting to make sure everything was great at my level 2).

I KNOW I am going to register at BRU. I would rather register at BBB based on opinions, but BRU has some of my top choice patterns of things that I want, and they are exclusive to BRU.. so BRU is def already a yes.

Now, there are a few items I really like that BRU doesn't carry. Amazon and Target each carry SOME of them. BBB doesnt seem to carry too many of them although I would theoretically like to register there.

It just seems like no one place has everything that I like.

That's what leads me to want to do Amazon. I know SOME people will buy from there, but I feel like a lot of people (esp. older folks) may still be old school and not internet shop.. So that makes me think Target since they still have a wide selection and store locations.. And just to add to the mix i was in Baby Depot the other day and of course they had my #1 choice of bedding for $149.99! I should have bought it but I'm really hoping to not spend too much money initially, and that i get a lot of stuff as gifts.

SOO all of that being said.... what would you do?? I'm so confused!!

I want to add a negative about Target. One of my friends registered there. Since it was a Target, I assumed I could run to the store anytime, so I waited till a week before the shower. Well literally everything on her registry was available online only. It was too late to order anything, and I will say she received very little from her actual registry for her shower.

I registered at BRU b/c of convenience for shoppers who prefer to shop in store, and at Amazon.com/babyregistry b/c they have EVERYTHING and at better prices than BRU. I tried to divide my items evenly, but most of my gear I registered for at Amazon b/c of the better prices...

I say, register EVERYWHERE and just registry stalk and delete things from other registries as they get bought.

I registered at BBB, Target, and Amazon. Most people bought from Target & Amazon.

If you register at Target, do it IN the store because like a PP said, otherwise everything will be online items only.

Amazon's registry is great and their 10% completion coupon can be used on a ton of things, including diapers. You have until 2 months after your due date to use it.

Target's completion coupon is in-store only. BBB and BRU will give you online and in-store coupons.

I like coupons. I registered everywhere in the world, but most places after my shower so really just for the coupon.

I liked diapers.com because for every $500 spent off of the registry, you get a $50 credit. At the end, you get 10% off and they do price matching, which is awesome.

im nervous about people not using amazon as much - esp. older relatives which i have a bunch of... for my wedding in '07 i did target, bed bath, and macys. i think target got used the least but all of them were used.

i dont really want to do three places again, i feel like thats overkill. i think amazon would be my top choice for my second one i just hope people use it!

we just regisitered at BBB people like that you can use bed bath and beyond coupons!

i LOVED amazon .especially for adding on books, music and bigger items. It's also great bc they have FREE shipping on everything so it doesn't add on cost for you or your folks .. also they have a great selection, give you a thank you list with who bought things and their addresses!

ETA - we also did BBB and liked it for being able to go to the store and use coupons!

Myabe this will help...
I chose to register at BBB and BRU for afew reasons.

1st I found stuff in both that I liked and I was able to break it up some here some there.

BBB is only in LI and the city and lots of my shower guest are from Queens so I added BRU too.

I didn't want to register at an online place only because not everyone is computer savvy so I wanted to give people the option of going to the store and see the items.

I was thrilled with the selection at Target so I just skipped that all together. I would preffer a baby store.
