Help Me Book
Husband's 30th is coming up in March..he wants a vacation rather than a party.
Places he wants to visit: Chicago New Orleans Savannah DR Jamaica (I know there all so different lol)
Don't want to spend more than 1,500 for flight and hotel...a long weekend.
Where do you recommend?

Re: Help Me Book
Love Chicago but in march the weather is still iffy so if cross that off. You can do an all inclusive in DR, but if you don't want to spend a lot you get what you pay for and may not be the best place. I'd do savannah. Haven't been to New Orleans in years and can't remember how much it would be.

Re: Help Me Book
New Orleans. A thousand times.
Personally, I loved Bourbon Street- check it out during the day if you're not into crowds... and by crowds I mean mobs. But there was so much to see and do, even just walking around the French Quarter. We also did a swamp tour which was amazing!!! I cannot wait to go back, we may go again this fall!
ETA: If he's in the mood for something beachy, then I'd say Jamaica. I've never been on a nicer beach than the one at Couples Swept Away- it was amazing. It's still a pretty inexpensive trip- they have fantastic all inclusives.

we stayed at http://www.hotellemarais.com/ very friendly and such a great location! it was half a block off of bourbon street and it was QUIET! breakfast is included and it was decent as well as a few drinks and it was CLEAN!
we had dinner at http://www.commanderspalace.com/menu/dinner/ it was INCREDIBLE! the service was the best! (and i eat out every meal) no complaints! we did a tasting menu i think it was 9 or 13 courses. deeeliiiiiiish!!
