Help! "Little Fevers" dosing for infant...
When I couldn't find generic infant's tylenol, I bought little fever's and it said on the cover for infants. When I opened it just now because we're out of the other stuff, I noticed that the dosing says Under 2, consult physician It's got a dosing like motrin, not like tylenol, but it's definitely acetaminophen. Any ideas how much of this stuff to give to an infant? Or should I just chuck it?

Tylenol for infants also says to contact a dr for under age 2. DS takes .08ML of tylenol/store brand. If it is the same as infants tylenol, then I would give .08...

my ped gave me a sheet it goes by weight..
6-11lbs 1/2 doppler 0-3mos
12-17lbs 1 doppler 4-11mos
18-23lbs 1 1/2 doppler 12-23mos
24-35lbs 2 doppler 2-3yrs

The dosing isn't like tylenol, is the problem. It's not .04 and .08 ml. It's the same dropper as motrin, which is like 1.25ml droppers. If it was the same dosing as tylenol, it wouldn't be a problem. It's really annoying that it's different!

It is annoying that it's different...but I brought both CVS brand (which is the same as Tylenol) and Little Fevers to my ped...she said that .8mL of infant Tylenol = 1.0mL of Little Fevers. HTH!
