help! i need opinions...
DD is having a birthday party next week at a kids party place....my cousin and her 2 kids are invited however the only way she can attend is if her friend drives her.Her friend has an 7 year old son. my daughter is only 2...im nervous that if my cousin brings her friend and the son...he will "ruin" the party and act up. i have seen him at other parties before and all the mother does is yell at him and he is very wild. Im afraid that because there is alot of small kids, that he will be too rough.plus there is a jump and bounce and a character coming...im afraid he will be too crazy with those things going on... Is it wrong if i tell my cousin that she cant bring her friend and son? i know that means my cousin wont be able to come to the party but i feel so torn! Id also have to pay extra money for the other kid to attend because there is a limit of 10 kids which i already have, every additional child is $10...its no big deal, its only $10 but then i have to think...do i get the kid a goodie bag too? he isnt bringing a gift to the party either which i dont want to sound selfish or expecting a gift but everyone attending is bringing one.... please help me and give your opinions on what you would do in this situation! of course there is always some kind of drama a week before a party!!

is there any from your family or hers that could drive her to the party that day instead of her friend?

the only person is my mom but she has a meeting and cant get her in time for the party (my cousin lives in bayside queens) her husband owns a business and one of his workers quit so he cant take any days off work, my cousins brothers already told her they were too busy to drive her out here...i totally understand the situation that she doesnt want to drive alone but she had a month and a half to figure it all out and i just feel like at this point its more trouble then anything for her to make it to the party...am i wrong for feeling this way?! i always make it to all of her parties and always find a way...again im trying to be understanding

Maybe you could just mention to your cousin that her friends son wouldn't be able to go on any of the activities because there for younger kids and that you feel bad but the party is really for the little ones and if there is any way she could get another ride or if her friend could possibly leave her son home with a family member. Good Luck with your decision I know it's hard one.
