If you blew it, there should be one "knob" facing the opposite way of the others. Just switch it back over and you should be good to go.

If it's a circuit breaker, you just need to flip it.

Re: Help! How do you change a fuse?
Do you actually have fuses? I know that old houses may still have fuses, and not circuit breakers. The vacation house my IL's have in FL has fuses and when we blew one, the hardware store actually still had some in stock. They look like fat mini bulbs.
So... do you have fuses or circuit breakers?

My old apartment had fuses, if you're still on fuses & not circuit breakers, Home Depot sells them- you might be better off to take the blown one out & bring it with you to make sure you get the right type. You might also have spares (unused ones) in the circiut box to use in a pinch.

Re: Help! How do you change a fuse?
You can go to home depot. Are you sure you don't have any extra in the house?
You have to make sure you get the right size and the correct amps to put back in. The bases can be different sizes (some narrower, some wider), so take the old one with you.
Once you get the right ones, it is very easy. Just unscrew the old and replace with the new.

Re: Help! How do you change a fuse?
Hey guys,
Thanks for all the advice. I kind of freaked out cause I am alone here, but I found fuses and replaced it. They are actually like fat little light bulbs. Everything worked out.
Thanks again!

Good! It is very easy as long as you have the correct ones.
Glad things worked out.
