Help he won't stop biting his lip
My 4 year old is constantly biting his lip on the INSIDE! Not by accident he just does it for the heck of it. He bites till he bleeds and then since it is on the inside the area turns yellow-ish white similar to canker sores and is just freakin' gross. We've tried talking to him and showing him how disgusting it looks, nada. We've threatened to take away his awesome new toy, yet again nada. It had gotten so bad that I took him to the Dr. who prescribed thrush meds because apparently his bites ended up leading to him having thrush too. The meds worked and made his mouth clear up but now he's at it again and I'm at my wits end.
Has anyone had any similar experiences with their kids?
Any remedies are greatly appreciated.
