help from all you dunkin donuts home coffee drinkers
so you guys all helped me determine what kind of coffee maker to buy. I bought one that grinds the beans-whatever. It just doesnt' taste the same as when i buy it in the store. My husband says they add something so you keep buying it there (LOL)
any suggestions?

As gross as it sounds, it's probably because their coffee machine isn't as clean as yours.

I was told that the coffee at home (I usually order the French Vanilla) will NOT taste like the one in the store because they add something to the coffee to make it taste like the flavor you want!!

I think it has to be the water they use, maybe some kind of filter-system.
(I don't even want to think it's because the machine is dirty )!!

It's not really entirely that it's dirty -- but it's making coffee all day long without being cleaned out after every pot. At home, people probably only make 1 pot a day and clean it every time. I think the coffee just winds up being stronger tasting at the store.

OK, we need to find someone who works at D&D! I always thought it tasted better because of the styrofoam cups!
