Help - b-day party alternative locations on short notice
Hi everyone.
So, this prediction of hurricane Irene sending torrential rain and wind our way on Sunday is freaking me out!
DS's birthday party is scheduled for Sunday at the Queens County Farm Museum. It is an outdoor location. I am trying to come up with alternative locations that I can hold it. We are having 30 adults and 12 kids. I would preferably like it to be in Queens.
Any suggetions ladies??

I did not even think of that.
ETA: I really did not want to postpone because I spent all day yesterday making cookie favors.

I did not even think of that.
ETA: I really did not want to postpone because I spent all day yesterday making cookie favors.
We have a party out east, and even though I don't want to, if we are in the middle of a hurricane, or expected to get one during the afternoon, I cannot go out there....just to dangerous...its about an hour ride for me, and I just don't feel comfortable.

they do have an inside area at the farm museum- its like a big pretty barn- I would call, if they dont have anything going on Sunday they may let you use it

I would be surprised if the location is even going to be open on Sunday. You may have no choice but to postpone it.
