help --- my 2.5 year old son is limping and I don't know what to do...

he took a fall this morning and cried which is abnormal because he is usually pretty resilient and gets up and says "ok". But this time he cried and I couldn't figure out where he was hurting. And then he was fine when I told him we were going to go play on the big slide.

So we took him to this indoor place which climbing and jumping. He did fine. I forgot about the fall. He wasn't complaining (and still isn't). But on the way out we noticed he was limping. We went grocery shopping with him in the cart. And now we're home and he is still limpng. Still not complaining though.

What should I do? Just wait it out to see if he gets any swelling? Call the ped? Do nothing? I'm waivering between waiting and seeing and at least calling the ped. I think I'm going to see how he is after naptime. WWYD?

it doesn't hurt to call the ped. they'll likely tell you to monitor it until tomorrow and to come in if it's still an issue in the morning. i'm not a doctor but i'd imagine that if something were broken he'd be screaming in pain. good luck.

it's definately not broke....he can still walk and was even hopping around on it before. I'm more thinking maybe he hurt his knee or something.

My son limped for a couple of days once after going to Bouncers and Slydos. The dr. said he most likely pulled a muscle. He wasn't complaining about it and it didnt hurt when i touched it. The ped. said to give it a week and if it didnt go away he would send us to an orthopedist.
